Elily recently completed the on-site commissioning of a complete gas supply system—comprising a proprietary screw air compressor and a laser-grade nitrogen generator—for a sheet metal processing plant. This system supports a fiber laser cutting machine equipped with a RayTools (Jiaqiang) BM114S cutting head for the batch processing of galvanized sheets.

The system delivers a stable supply of high-purity nitrogen, effectively eliminating issues such as oxidation and blackening, zinc layer burnout, and excessive dross accumulation associated with air cutting. The resulting cut edges are smooth and burr-free, eliminating the need for secondary grinding. By generating nitrogen in-house rather than purchasing liquid nitrogen, the client significantly reduces gas costs and ensures a continuous, stable supply, while also effectively protecting the laser cutting head's optical components.
