Nitrogen Generator Installation Site Requirements: What Conditions Should Your Workshop Prepare In Advance

Many factories only arrange site preparation after nitrogen generator arrives on-site. Unsuitable workshop environment leads to poor heat dissipation, frequent faults and shortened service life. Before delivery, buyers need to evaluate space, ventilation, power supply, pipeline and foundation conditions.

Space requirement: Leave maintenance access around the unit. Do not squeeze nitrogen generator into narrow corner. You need reserved space for filter replacement, valve maintenance and molecular sieve filling operation.

Ventilation is critical. PSA nitrogen generators generate heat during operation. Closed small room without good air circulation will raise ambient temperature, reduce nitrogen output and accelerate component aging. If you have to place equipment inside closed room, install exhaust fan for forced ventilation.

Power supply: Confirm stable voltage. Voltage fluctuation will damage solenoid valves and control PLC. For remote workshop, suggest configuring voltage stabilizer.

Pipeline layout: Inlet compressed-air pipe should match generator nominal air flow. Too-thin pipe causes pressure drop. Install pressure gauge before nitrogen generator inlet, so you can monitor incoming air pressure conveniently during daily operation.

If site condition cannot meet standard, communicate with supplier in advance for modification suggestions. Site preparation done well can avoid many unnecessary on-site troubles after machine arrival.
