1. The air compressor should be placed in a location far away from steam, gas fumes and dust flying. A filter device should be installed on the intake pipe. After the air compressor is in place, it should be symmetrically wedged with shims.
2. Keep the exterior of the storage tank clean frequently. Welding or hot processing near the gas storage tank is prohibited. The gas storage tank should undergo a water pressure test once a year, with the test pressure being 1.5 times the working pressure. The pressure gauge and safety valve should be inspected once a year.
3. Operators should undergo specialized training and must have a comprehensive understanding of the structure, performance and functions of the air compressor and its accessories, as well as be familiar with the operation procedures and maintenance regulations.
4. Operators should wear work clothes. Female workers should insert their hair into their work caps. Operating is prohibited under the influence of alcohol. They are not allowed to engage in tasks unrelated to operation, are not allowed to leave their posts without permission, and are not allowed to decide on the replacement of non-machine operators.
5. Before starting the air compressor, perform the necessary checks and preparations as per regulations. Pay attention to opening all valves of the gas storage tank. After the diesel engine starts, it must undergo heating operations at low speed, medium speed and rated speed. After checking that all instrument readings are normal, it can be operated under load. The air compressor should gradually increase the load before starting at full load.
6. During the operation of the air compressor, pay attention to the readings of the instruments (especially the pressure gauge), listen to the sounds of each part, and if any abnormal situation is found, stop the machine immediately for inspection. The maximum pressure in the gas storage tank should not exceed the pressure specified on the nameplate. Every 2-4 hours, open the condensate oil and water discharge valves of the intermediate cooler and the gas storage tank 1-2 times. Keep the machine clean.
After long-term operation of the air compressor, it is prohibited to rinse with cold water.
7. When the air compressor is shut down, gradually open the exhaust valve of the gas storage tank, slowly reduce the pressure, and correspondingly reduce the diesel engine speed. Make the air compressor run at no load and low speed for 5-10 seconds. After the air compressor stops, the diesel engine should continue to run at low speed for 5 seconds before stopping. In winter when the temperature is below 5 degrees, drain the coolant without adding antifreeze after shutting down.
8. When cleaning the heat sinks, do not use the burning method to remove the oil stains in the pipeline. Maintenance work such as cleaning and tightening must be carried out after the machine is shut down. When blowing and washing parts with compressed air, do not point the nozzle at people or other equipment to prevent injury and damage.
9. Regularly (weekly) conduct a manual exhaust test on the safety valve of the gas storage tank once to ensure the safety and effectiveness of the safety valve.
10. Keep the machine clean. After long-term operation of the air compressor, it is prohibited to rinse with cold water.
